Travel plans

It is 4 weeks since we arrived in Accra, and strangely we feel like we know the place very well.  However, progress on our plans to get involved with a local charity have been somewhat slower, and this is partly due to our refusal to take on a 9-5 position on a project/organisation, which would involve arranging day care for Elias and turn our lives here into something quite similar to what we left behind.
So, we are looking to change our plan somewhat to first spend a few weeks with Orphanage Africa in Dodowa, and then see if we can help them by visiting a few remote children homes in the North of the country. From there we could move on to visit Burkina and Mali, and once there I expect the temptation to drive all the way up to Morocco will be hard to resist, hence the pictures...

In the meantime, our plan for the next few days will take us to a small place near Axim, on the coast in West Ghana, near the Ivory Coast border, taking in Cape Coast and Kakum National Park along the way.
